New AGLAE, Grand Louvre Elementary Analysis Accelerator, is an analysis system based on a tandem electrostatic accelerator, Pelletron model with maximum voltage 2MV. New AGLAE is equipped with two sources: a Duoplamatron source that can produce hydrogen ions (protons) and an Alphatross source that can produce Helium ions (alphas). New AGLAE remains to this day the only installation of this type in the world to be implanted in a museum laboratory.
